HOW PREMIER'S PROGRAM WORKS Premier Schools offers home-study courses that quickly and conveniently help you fulfill the basic education requirements of becoming a licensed real estate appraiser. Each of our courses may be completed in as little time as two and one/half weeks. Our courses of instruction lead you step by step through the material that you need to know to pass the state examination. Our programs are excellently styled for new applicants, who want to obtain their trainee/residential license, as well as existing licensees, who want to upgrade their existing licenses to the Certified Residential or Certified General level. Premier's home-study appraisal courses can also be used to meet existing licensee's continuing education requirements. When you enroll, you will receive the required textbook used with each course and all the course materials needed to complete the course. Each course consists of completing reading assignments and multiple choice quizzes based on the course material. Your quizzes are submitted to the school for grading. The minimum passing grade for each quiz is 70%. Our courses may
also include certain enrichment projects such as
essays or achievement
exercises.
When you have completed all the required course work, you will take a
closed-book final examination consisting of
100 multiple choice questions.
You will need a score of 70% or better to successfully complete your course and receive a
Certificate of Completion for that course. Once you receive Certificates of Completion, or other documentation if applicable, you are qualified to apply for an exam date from the Office of Real Estate Appraisers. This is done by submitting an Initial Application (REA 3001), our Certificates of Completion, other required documentation, and your license examination fee to the OREA. Once this is done, use our Appraiser License Exam Preparation kits to make sure that you pass the state-licensing exam the first time. |
